  • I laughed, I cried... I didn't want it to end!

This is "fantasy" through and through. Once I realized that, I really got into the adventure. Every character is "special" in their own way, and what's suprising is that living in such tight quarters, everyone is still a mystery to the rest of the house. Follow the girl as she uncovers clues leading her to more information on the neigbors she's known all her life, but doesn't "know" at all.

  • An excellent read, couldn’t stop reading it!

This is my favorite book. I couldn’t put it down and I cannot stop reading it. I have read it 3 times back to back. Such lovable characters and this book has it all! One minute I’m laughing the next I’m crying. Fredrik Blackman is a genius writer, I have also read A Man called Ove and Britt Marie was here and loved them as well. I can’t wait to read Beartown next!

The faoty tales at the beginning were a bit confusing but very quickly made sense with story line. This avery enjoyable book that keeps your attention. The storyline is faabulois.....the study guide at the end for book clubs/reading groups is a great addition.
