  • The Man Who Died Twice

I have read both books by Richard Osman & loved every minute it took to read each one! They are thoroughly enjoyable & the most fun books I have ever read! The mystery is well thought out & well written, but the humour, wit & compassion that Osman writes each character with is what keeps you entranced with the story. All I can say is, Thank You Mr. Osman, I can’t wait for the next instalment of The Thursday Murder Club!!!

  • Brilliant!

I won’t say a lot but I must say that this book is simply brilliant and so refreshing! Its subtle humour is excellent! The friendship and the interaction between the 4 septuagenarian main characters is absolutely terrific and it felt so real. It is, in my opinion, the best think in this series. I loved the first book, but I think that this one is a lot better. I also immensely enjoyed the audiobook, which I listened while reading the book, and I have to say that the audiobook is amazing and I do recommend it (on its own or with the book). The storyline and its development is skillfully written and some of the dialogues are funny and witty. Although this book works as a standalone, I do suggest reading the first book, just to get acquainted with the characters, as this book does not give “flashbacks”, which I think is great. PS.: my favourite part and the one I kept looking forward to reading was Joyce’s diary. How I treasure those entries!
